As a Senior Consultant with The Leadership Group LLC, Wanda helps both for-profit and non-profit organizations enhance its overall capacity and effectiveness through such engagements as board development/training, communication and strategic planning events, retreats, or virtual learning opportunities. Wanda demonstrates extensive knowledge in business management. In addition to decades of wide-ranging experiences in leadership, she brings a strong set of human resources skills.

With a bachelors’ degree (BA) in Human Resources Administration from Concordia University, Wanda demonstrated a high level of effectiveness as a corporate HR professional within a highly regulated banking industry. Within corporate settings, Wanda’s responsibilities included recruitment, orientation and retaining a diverse workforce of high potential employees; assisted with preparation and implementation of organizational Affirmative Action Plans and programs. An experience facilitator, her expertise was highlighted in workshops on diversity/inclusion and shaping organizational culture. In a role of business partner, Wanda’s experiences included performing as lead contact in employee relations investigations where allegations of discrimination, abuse or bias became evident or reported.

In conjunction with her role as a regional HR Business Partner within a large network of proprietary schools, Wanda provided strategic direction, a global HR perspective and consistent human resources approach to policies and procedures to both management and staff, across multiple states, each with local work cultures and practices.

Wanda knows first-hand, the rewards and challenges that come with being “your own boss”, with over ten-years of experience in retail sales. With passion and entrepreneurial spirit, Wanda provides clients the benefit of her rich insights, from the unique perspective of a minority small business owner in a mall-based retail establishment. Wanda enjoys workshop design, facilitation, and public speaking opportunities.
